Got To Go was started by my father, Brian, back in 2002. Having come from a family of animal lovers, it seemed completely natural for him to enter the world of pet sitting. We always had animals around the house while growing-up, from dogs to birds to the ferret I brought home from school without permission from my parents. Before long, Got To Go grew from a one-person operation to a major pet sitting company covering Monmouth and Middlesex Counties in New Jersey.

Got To Go’s growth was so significant, I made the decision to relocate from New York City and leave my position as an Architect in order to become partners with my father. Based on my previous work experience and having earned a Master’s Degree in both Architecture and Business Management, I was able to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to Got To Go. By 2009, my father retired and I became assumed sole ownership.

With a client base of over 700, we are honored to be part of lives of the families we serve. For many, we have become part of the family. Our pet sitters are a magnificent group of people, all with wonderful recommendations reflective of their commitment to caring for pets.

Got To Go has evolved over the years to ensure we are able to give our clients what they need to make caring for their pets an easy process. We proudly offer multiple services including in home pet sitting, overnight stays, pet transportation, poop removal, supply pick up, house watching and house waiting. To accommodate today’s busy lifestyle, we use an online scheduling system which enables our clients to easily book appointments and update their profile and pet information through the computer, smart phone or tablet. For those that still like to speak to a person we answer the phones Monday thru Sunday 8 am – 9 pm. As our tag line says…
